Delicious City is an inside look at the hottest culinary scene in America: Philadelphia.

Our Strategy

Breakdown Media works with the podcast to bring their passion for food and drink to life across every platform. By providing end-to-end podcast and video production, managing the brand’s social media presence, and supporting their marketing and event planning, we amplify the podcast to be seen and heard by thousands of Philadelphians.

Within our strategy, we guide the format and scripts, execute giveaways, and brainstorm creative and events. We bring the conversations on the podcast to their social platforms, fostering a culinary community and amplifying Philly as the ultimate food destination.

You can feel the engagement and enthusiasm for the brand through the events we produce, such as: The Tasties, Hoagie Throwdown, Merch Madness, curated supper clubs and tailgates, down to live podcasts and remote recordings.

Working with Delicious City, we have:

  • Doubled podcast downloads since August 2023. 

  • Increased reach and followers on social media through compelling and sharable short form videos and daily audience engagement

  • Curated a weekly event calendar for Instagram followers for community engagement.

Delicious City Podcast’s first ever Hoagie Throwdown was insane! From hot pink hoagies to bread beatdowns (literally) it was a wild day, one that could only happen in PHILLY.

It was a close race for the People's Choice Hoagie Belt, the Iron Chef Sandwich Competition, AND the main event match, with a twist that we still can't get over...
