We are small but mighty.
A boutique agency of thinkers, dreamers, and creatives.

You’ve got a story to tell.
We want to tell it!

Breakdown.Media was launched by Nick Murphy and Sara Parker to tell compelling, meaningful stories through creative marketing. Their partnership began at a top-rated radio station in Philadelphia, where they produced content for the station and its many clients.

It was Rock Breakdown, a music news video series, that took their collaboration to the next level and inspired them to help others realize their own potential.

Your mission and your passion should be immediately identifiable, and not an afterthought. We’ll highlight what makes you stand out - your spirit - so that people see beyond your brand.

The focused attention of our boutique agency will give you the materials and the confidence that you need to take your message to the masses.

Meet the team

SARA PARKER

Co-founder, Chief Strategy Officer

Sara's passion for music led her to a career in broadcasting, where she leaned into her ability to connect artists to audiences through powerful storytelling and savvy marketing strategies. Her experience on the radio - where every second counts - taught her how to distill each message down to its most engaging points without losing its luster. She held a prominent role in programming and digital at 93.3 WMMR for over a decade, and you can still hear her on air regularly. She's also online (@radio_sara) hosting artist interviews and a music news series, and posting about as many hot sauces and pumpkin-spiced-anything she can find.

Co-founder, Chief Creative Officer

Nick is an award-winning filmmaker and editor. For 13 years, he directed and produced a daily livestream of the Preston & Steve Show on 93.3 WMMR. Nick directed, edited, and (many times) wrote commercials & promotional videos for most of the station’s clients & advertisers. When creating those pieces for clients, Nick focuses his storytelling skills through the lens of advertising to craft compelling work that tells an engaging story while still highlighting a great product or service. You can find Nick online (@HeyNickMurphy). He enjoys being color-blind, the '80s, time travel, and Star Wars.
